Wednesday Sept 4 – Sunday Sept 8 - Italians tour American Cities (New York, Washington DC & San Francisco).
Sunday Sept 8 – Arrive in Medford at 11:43 pm on United Airlines Flight #5561
Monday Sept 9 – Jet Boats, $29 per person
Need carpool help to and from Grants Pass
Depart North Medford High School at 11 am return 4-4:30 pm
Welcome Party at Red Lilly. Arrive between 5-5:30 pm

Tuesday Sept 10 – Meet at 10:45 am Hanley Farm and Jacksonville Day
Wear comfortable walking shoes

Friday Sept 13 – South Medford High Day
Italian Students must sign-in at the school office and get a visitor pass plus Italian students will get a free t-shirt.

Most students will be done with school at 2:40 pm
South Football Game in evening
North and South host students accompanied by Italians must enter through the student gate on the WEST side. American host students will need to show their student ID (North or South) and will not pay admission. Italians will also get free admission.
Saturday Sept 14 – Britt festival (Italian ticket and 1 host ticket comp’d)
Monday Sept 16 – Crater Lake (bus). Meet 7:45 am at North in circular parking lot
Bring lunch, snacks, water, hiking shoes and appropriate attire
Crater Lake Itinerary
This tour is conducted by Larry Smith. He is a retired grade school teacher, a longtime resident of Jacksonville, and a former Crater Lake park guide.
8:00 am Depart. Drive to Union Creek
9:00 am Walk to the Natural Bridge, a 1 mile round trip, Restroom stop
10:30 am Depart. Arrive at Steel Center. General Park Info provided & maps. Restrooms
11:15 am Hike to Watchman Look out (.7 miles)
12:30 pm Stop for views/lunch
2:00 pm “Trek” down to the lake trailhead, then return
3:30 pm Board bus, head back 11 miles to Rim village
4:00 pm Rim Village Stop Food & Souvenirs
5:00 pm Return to Medford; arrive between 6:30 /7:00
Wednesday Sept 18 – Orchard Hill Elementary School – a pen pal school (8:30-10 am)
Thursday Sept 19
Students (Americans & Italians) should bring $5 and a camera/camera phone to "Medford Amazing Race" downtown scavenger hunt.
1045 Meet in front of Carnegie Hall for book signing
1115 Lunch with the City Council
1200 Council Meeting
1230 Scavenger Hunt Downtown Medford
Approximately 2 pm pick up in front of Carnegie Hall

- 8:30 check in at North front office—student government and hosting North students will meet them there…
- 1st block of school: North hosts and student government kids give tours of school/shadow North student to class (if time)
- Tornado Block: go to FA-1 with North/student government students
- 3rd block: stay in FA-1 until 11:00
- 11:00—lunch is served in main office conference room (probably Mexican)—students take food and eat in staff lounge
- Italians get North shirts and other goodies in conference room
- After lunch (12:15 pm)—Italians leave North
